Terms for using Margit

Service description

Margit provides daily conversational engagement through AI to enrich two generations.

Our service is designed to help elderly people maintain mental sharpness, social contact, and joy in life through meaningful daily conversations.

Margit is a complement to, not a replacement for, professional care, family relationships, or social community.

Eligibility

To use Margit, you or the person who will use the service must be at least 18 years old. If you're registering the service for an elderly family member, you confirm that you have their consent to do so.

Not medical care

Margit is not a medical service and should not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.

Important: If you or your family member is experiencing a medical emergency, immediately contact 112 or appropriate emergency care. Margit is a conversation partner, not a healthcare provider.

Payment and subscription

Margit is currently offered as a pilot program for founding families.

Pilot program

During the pilot period, the service is free for participating families. You'll be notified at least 30 days before any payment is required.

Future pricing

When the service transitions to commercial launch, subscription prices will be clearly communicated. All existing users will receive preferential pricing as thanks for being early users.

Canceling the service

You can cancel your use of Margit at any time. Contact us via email or through your account panel and we'll help you with the process. If you have a paid subscription when that time comes, refunds will be handled fairly on a case-by-case basis.

Liability limitations

Margit is provided 'as is' and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for:

•Technical problems or service interruptions
•Content or quality of conversations generated by AI
•Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service
•Data loss or security breaches beyond our reasonable control

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after such changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
